Before my final year at secondary school, I wanted to change my surroundings for a few months. They found me not only a great job in a lovely hotel in Cyprus, but I also had free accommodation. Thanks to the 8-hour shifts, I had plenty of time for the sea and entertainment as well.

I’m flying back again after graduation.

​I’ve been living in Cyprus for 4 years and working as a chef. For the first 3 years, I kept changing jobs and looking for something better, but since I don’t speak Greek and I’m not from Cyprus, everywhere offered me low wages. Everything changed once I met the people from Karyon. They helped me find a well-paid job with a contract and normal working hours. It’s been over a year now, and I’m still happy.

I always avoided recruitment agencies until I was approached with a marketing job offer in Portugal. I was surprised that even through an intermediary, it’s possible to find an interesting job and earn very good money.

I flew to Cyprus to join a friend who had promised me a job. In the end, it didn’t work out and I couldn’t find anything decent. My finances were running low, and so was my patience. I personally went around various restaurants and bars, and I was also looking for work in Facebook groups. But the offer from Karyon seemed the most interesting to me. I went for an interview, got accepted, and finally felt relieved. Food, accommodation, and even a higher salary than what others were offering me. Thank you :)
